An Eclipse!! Whats an Eclipse? an eclipse is an obscuring of the light from one celestial body by the passage of another between it and the observer or between it and its source of illumination
. The last solar eclipse in the United States with a line of totality was June 8, 1918 putting it over 99 years ago. There have been many eclipses since then even in the United States itself but none that went through the whole U.S. There has also been several all over the world but the eatrth is 71% water so chances are we miss quite a few eclipses.

The next eclipse?
When is the next eclipse? The next eclipse or adleast the next eclipse in the United States with a line of totality is estimated to be in 2024. Which is pretty astonishing taking into account that it took 99 years for one to happen but now two are happening in a matter of 10 years. The approximate daete is predicted on August 8 2024. The next eclipse wil start in mexico start in texas and it will end in New York. It wont really hit the west part of the united states which means people in the west part of the U.S will have to travel
